LJ House Cleaning

I just went through my friends list and removed several people who no longer read my journal. If you're reading this, you're pretty much guaranteed to NOT* be one of them, unless you saw the "removed" notice and wondered what the heck happened. Basically, I have a lot of people on my f-list. It's fun reading them all (certainly there were good reasons for me to have added them in the first place), but if they're not interested in mutual friendship, I'm less inclined to keep 'em around. I have been blessed with getting to know many beautiful people here, and I'd rather have a smaller number of genuinely interested people sharing their thoughts with me than reading page after page of interesting, but uninterested individuals out there.

Thanks for those of you who still read my journal. I am grateful for you.

*EDIT: When writing important text about removing people from LJ, it's extremely necessary to NOT write when also cooking dinner, in case your language implies that all people reading this entry have been removed. This was not my intent, and um, I screwed up. The "NOT" just didn't make it into the first round. Sorry to have offended!

I try to read my FL at least once a day. It's been harder lately with my schedule change at work, but now that I have a decent schedule again, it should be easier.

Oh, you're fine! :) I just removed people who'd already removed me--either by accident or with conscious intent--and decided if they're not willing to make any effort toward friendship, I should focus my energy on those who keep me around. ^_^

And with 369 mutual friends, I'm not sure how you possibly keep up! But thanks for taking time to read mine.

you're still one of the lj-friends i've never actually met, but hey, i figure that's fixable someday. and i often enjoy reading what you have to say, so it's all good by me; i actually don't know a good third of my friends-list.

If I had the luxury that Jodawi did to get us to meet, I'd travel around meeting all my cool LJ friends ... and some of those I met ten years ago on EQ and STILL haven't met in real life.

I read my friends at least once a day.. even if I don't post very often. I definitely enjoy reading your posts and following your life, even if I do not participate much.
