If I were a time of day, I'd be... midmorning, around 10ish, on a sunny Tuesday when everyone else has to work but me
If I were a planet, I'd be... disregarded by scientists as really being a planet
If I were a direction, I'd be... that a way
If I were a piece of furniture, I'd be... a Victorian chaise lounge
If I were a liquid, I'd be... chai on cold days, green tea frap on warm ones
If I were a gemstone, I'd be... green amber
If I were a tree, I'd be... weeping willow
If I were a flower, I'd be... dahlias and calla lilies
If I were a kind of weather, I'd be... mild spring sunset before the storm
If I were a musical instrument, I'd be... a violin missing a string

The quick and dirty:
Drowning in jargon since first week of the quarter.
Finally getting through some of the worst of the work.
Have temporary lag.
Started seeing therapist on campus.
Started going to Campus Coalition for Sexual Literacy meetings (partly for my Independent Study project)
Had emotional upheavals, struggled through them
Had illness, struggled through it
Starting to catch up with mountain of homework
House slightly cleaner (for the moment)
Cooking more frequently
Started exercising again
Writing, writing, writing...
Trying to catch up on editing book 2, while people give feedback on book 1
Actually wrote a scene for Daisy this weekend!
Ana discovered a pond in our backyard, source of frogs, we're looking into establishing it as a preserved wetland (city wants to expand the road and destroy it)
Spent time each day with my daughter doing something together ^_^
