Taking A Little Leap
May. 16th, 2004 11:21 amWell, I did it. I took the leap and bought the bed frame I wanted. I'm glad I waited, it's now $130 less than its original price. I went ahead and grabbed the netting I wanted, too. Then I went over to Amazon to order Norton Antivirus software and the Labyrinth/Dark Crystal DVD. I'm waiting to purchase the RAM until tomorrow because I don't want to trip my debit card's security alert. It can take days to sort it out, and I just don't have the patience to sit on the phone with various CSR's and discuss why I needed to buy so much in one day. Bah!
Have they never heard of comfort shopping while sick after just getting your tax refund? (And yes, mom, I've set aside a large chunk of money to save up for the plane tickets. If you can find me a travel agent or great deal, let me know--I'm not sure I trust priceline.com)
The phone bill will also be paid tomorrow--I forgot I can't pay over the phone on the weekends. I don't understand it, but that's Qwest's rule.
. . . I want egg rolls. I'm considering taking a walk to the store for them at the risk of feeling worse later. This is just another reason why I need a car.
