Mar. 4th, 2008 09:07 pmSA Miniskirt Protest, which reminded me how much I loved the poem "My Short Skirt" by Eve Ensler, told during the two performances of The Vagina Monologues I attended (full text below, behind cut tag).
This completely explains why after three years of dancing more and more and eating breakfast less and less I kept gaining weight ... except that now I eat breakfast and I still gain weight. But really, EAT BREAKFAST!
In lighter news my shoulder hurts for no reason, unless I strained it somehow over the last couple of days when carrying Ana about since I felt guilty for being the one who ran over her heel with my Costco shopping cart. She's ok, the doctor said there was no significant damage and she should heal quickly, but I can still remember the screaming, followed by tears, followed by the beaten silence of an injured child. Murr.
And this is how my daughter looks most weekends since getting her PS2:
