(no subject)

Miserable day, nothing went according to plan.

Snow.

Couldn't find scantrons. Didn't bring syllabi.

Left late (9:30am).

Arrived to find Ana's class and the other 3rd/4th class on field trip.

Little time to study. Not full prepared for midterm.

Got to first class early, only to remember class temporarily moved for the presentation.

Found out presentation was being held by the waterfront at OTB.

Took 17 minutes for us to walk there (Ana in tow).

Got there 20 minutes late.

20 minutes later, Ana told me it was too scary, looked stricken, asked to leave. (Presentation about the nuclear testing done by the U.S. on the Marshall Islands and to its indigenous people in the 40's.)

Had decent lunch, went outside to find sky raining.

Rain turned to snow.

Walked a very long way back to Red Square.

Went to midterm to find myself stupid and ill-prepared.

Left campus early; shopping at Costco; drive home in snow/rain.

Decent dinner, good shows.

Ana can't find her homework.

I find homework, set her to the task of writing five sentences.

One and a half hours later, find child has plagiarized all five sentences.

Set her to the task of rewriting.

Realize I haven't done ANY of my own homework.

Did I mention not being able to sleep the night before?

But hey, dinner was decent.
