Small Update, Big News

I've been busy. I had a baby named Caelan Konstantin on April 17th, 2013, which was one year and one day after my mother's passing. He's our pretty little treasure . . . with colic. In the last four weeks, I've managed to care for him while independently publishing a new collection of my poetry, Journey Through the Hinterland*, and getting my new web site, Satyr's Garden, live and complete enough for my current needs. To promote my new book, I even designed a t-shirt and button in line with one of the poems, and sent the poem off to a few local publications, including PCC's newsletter.

If my icons look weird, it's because I can't afford to renew my paid account, and they didn't let me select which six icons I wanted to have on hand. :P
