neversremedy8: (Live the Dream)
Gods, I could just lay back and listen to Bowie sing "I Would Be Your Slave" all fucking day in this grey, cool fog. I wouldn't even need to touch myself, I'd just automatically be placed in that euphoric after-orgasm glow laying there, surrendering to the music. But of course, I have a busy day ahead. When I get back from the doctor's office, I'll post about my gay sex dreams (ok, there was no sex, but they were gay).

1. Go here.
2. Pass it on.

I wanted to promote my former girlfriend Glynis' current production. I don't have the money to go, so I probably won't be able to see it, but for those who can, here's what she sent me:

Alfred Hitchcock's Rope
Based on the screenplay written by Arthur Laurents
Directed by Gina Robertson-Graef

Previews August 12th and 13th
Shows August 19th, 20th, 26th, 27th
Doors at 7:30 pm, show at 8pm
Admission $10 general, $8 students and seniors (that means you, Mom and Dad!)
Previews Pay-What-You-Can
Northwest Actors Studio Cabaret
1100 E. Pike St
Cash bar open before the show and during intermission

I would rate this play PG-13 for subject matter (murder!). There is
no nudity or swearing -- although someone does say "Golly!" Herbal
cigarettes will be used during the performance -- Dom, you have been
warned. :)

Note: I recommend you see either the previews or closing weekend for
casting reasons. Opening will be fine, but that's my recommendation.
Plan on reserving tickets with Wendy at (206) 696-0938 especially if
you are showing up for previews, since previews are generally packed.
You can also get tickets online at www.ticketwindowonline.com. AND
you can visit www.nwactorsstudio.org for promo pictures and such.
Show up early if you want couch space!

Thanks again! See you there!

And yeah, I totally missed the "pay-what-you-can" part of the previews. Ah well.

Let me write. Please oh great gods and guardians of my inspiration, release the muses and into me may they flow freely this story that needs purging from my tormented soul. I sacrifice unto you an hour of my sleep in order that I might make further progress on removing this albatross from about my neck. Let me know light and peace from this, so that I can move on to bigger, better stories that truly honour all the teachings I have been given. This I ask of thee, do as you will. So mote it be. Blessed be, blessed be.

... and note: I am one of those people who listens to a song or album on endless loop--sometimes for days--and I like it. If you force me to stop, I'll scratch your eyes out. Writing and music. Don't get in the way of either.

Did I mention that I got some major stuff finished on my to do list today? Yeah, I'm not backing down on the one thing I have left to me tonight that I can do before the morning.

If travel is searching
And home has been found

I'm not stopping

I'm going hunting
I'm the hunter
I'll bring back the goods
But I don't know when

I thought I could organize freedom
How Scandinavian of me
~en-cha-le-li~
~en-cha-le~
You sussed it out, didn't you ?
yeah!

You could smell it
So you left me on my own
To complete the mission
Now I'm leaving it all behind

I'm Going hunting
I'm the hunter, I'm the hunter
I'm going hunting
