Aquarius and Virgo?

I was just conversing with Jen about our romantic relationships with Aquarians, and it seems we've had similar experiences. "In the beginning, we find that we connect on all levels, everything is blissful and wonderful, and then 'whathafuh?!'"

This is why I don't get involved with Aquarians anymore. It always ends up with me wondering what the hell they're talking about, why my interest completely dropped off one day, and why they blame me for everything that's ever gone wrong in their lives. I mean, really, WTF? My experiences have only involved three lovers/friends with possibility, and now I just back away slowly from men I find interesting who tell me they're an Aquarius. I'm starting to wonder if anyone can actually be in a long-term committed relationship with Aquarian men. Not that it's always true, but I'm taking precautions to get caught up in another one of those emotional dramas--whatever happened, we were both to blame for the changes.

This is why I'm glad that I'm a Libra who's dating a Libra. Whatever problems he's going to have, I've had them already. ;)

(Not that they're any less annoying, though. Our arguments are relatively civil, but they last for hours.)

I've had three, count them, three, Libran lovers. All of them have the same type of relationship with me. I won't go into it, because all of them can read this, but ... yeah. At least I still like them after all this time. :)

I'm also avoiding Capricorn men unless they're like the Capricorn females I know. Unfortunately, most of them are gay.

I always fall for Aquarians as well! Just what you said--huge connection in the beginning, and then... Blah. Splat. I always blame it on the fact that both my brother and dad are Aquarians and so I can relate to them much more, I'm a bit odd myself, being a Taurus w/ Libra rising (or as my astrology-mad friend puts it, "a down-to-earth" airhead.

It's funny, Ana is moon in Aquarius, but I think it's because 1) she's female and 2) I'm her mother that we get along as well as we do (most of the time).

I've dated one Aquarian man for a short time, but have known many of them personally. (It's the "friend" syndrome that seems to occur within Aquarian relationships) They seem to have splinter-skills in terms of social aptitude. Wonderful at conversation, esoteric, fun, oddly romantic, very giving in very specific areas....clueless at cleaning up relationship messes or navigating through anyone's emotions, especially their own. Completely unable to accept blame or accept a discrepancy between their ethics and actions.

I'm curious--how do you fare with Aquarian women? I'm an Aquarius, and it has been my experience with Virgos (especially women) that it is an extreme case of "hit or miss". I suspect that having a Virgo partner in anything but life would be a tremendous success, as we seem to be acutely complimentary of one another.

I've had no trouble with Aquarians as friends. I've never dated a female Aquarian, though, so I don't have the context to surmise. I also don't just base it on one, I can say I tend to avoid certain men based on their sun sign because of repeated relationships with men of that type. I'm not sure about complimentary, it depends on the people and a larger view of the chart, but ... ::shrugs:: Not enough data to compute. ::winks::
