Synchronicity II

Jennifer just walked in after buying a desk from Craigslist. I saw it in the hall and went to help her when I realized it looked like the same style of desk I had when I was in Shoreline during my high school years. I walked up in disbelief to find that it has all of the same marks that were on it when I had it as a teenager. Some of the stains on the wood had been sanded off by the previous owner (who is currently living in Edmonds), but the purple and blue marks from my painting and the stains along the laquer are all in the right spot. It's even missing the same screws that used to hold it together, and now Jennifer owns it after all of these years! HA!
The universe is playful, and likes to make moves like this with me now and then. Just think of the time when I found two of my cats living with the woman about to be my new apartment manager! HA! LALALALALALA!
And for those of you who haven't seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, go see it! Again!
