neversremedy8Who here has read my book, My Name Was Indigo? If you've read it, please go to Amazon and review it. Be honest, I don't want falsified reviews, please. It isn't a great book, I know this. It's almost a vanity publishing, and I know that while there are a few very wonderful poems in there, a lot of it is filler. :P It was a start, and my writing is improving. Those of you on my Dearest filter have access to my latest completed short story--and since none of you but my mother have commented, bite me--may notice how much my writing is improving. Anyway, if you've purchased it and read it, please leave feedback on Amazon. It's not like I expect royalties (the first royalty check I got didn't come for two years, and it was only for $14 and change), but at least it will be something for me to go from, a launching point to achieve even more the next time I publish. Anyone in Seattle who is curious and can't afford (or doesn't want) to buy it, you can stop by my place and puruse one of my copies.
Grr. Growl. Schnarl. I'm all for biting heads today, and I don't know why. At least I'm eating healthier foods--three mornings in a row now I've been making smoothies with fresh fruit, soy milk, soy protein, and flax seed oil. Ana hates me right now, but it's that or pile vegetables on her plate and play militant bitch and force them down her throat. She actually complains that I make her drink these sweet, fruity milkshakes every morning, even though she'd beg me to buy her one just like it for $3-6 at any store that carries them. I need to start buying mango in bulk; she's more likely to drink mango smoothies than berry and banana ones. Picky little brat.
